Visiting Grandview Park Baptist came from behind to beat Roland-Story Tuesday night in Heart of Iowa Athletic Conference boys basketball, 47-45, in the season opener for both teams in Story City.

The Norsemen led 15-9 after one quarter and were up 28-26 at halftime.  GVPB was ahead, 34-32, through three quarters.  R-S had a six-point lead on two occasions in the fourth quarter but could not hang on for the win.

Jacob Rathmacher led Roland-Story scorers with 15 points and three other Norsemen scored six points apiece.  R-S, now 0-1 overall and 0-1 in the HOIAC, hosts South Hamilton on Saturday.
