It was a three-game sweep for Roland-Story in its 2009 volleyball home opener Tuesday night.  The Norse defeated CMB in Heart of Iowa Athletic Conference play, 26-24, 25-14 and 25-9.  R-S is now 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference.  The next action is Saturday in tournament play at East Marshall.

Against CMB, Hannah Warburton was chosen as the Edward Jones player-of-the-game.  She had 11 ace serves along with five digs and three kills.  Mia Pierson had 10 kills and four blocks for the Norse.  Amber Renaud had seven kills.  Setter Abbey Sindt recorded 24 assists.  Emily Krakau led the defense with eight digs.
