Roland-Story went 2-2 in volleyball tournament play at East Marshall on Saturday.  The weekend split leaves the Norse with a 4-2 overall record going into a Monday night conference match with South Hamilton.

In pool play at East Marshall, R-S lost to Union in three games, 17-21, 23-21 and 7-15.  It bounced back to defeat both Tri-County (21-9, 21-19) and West Marshall (21-19, 21-12) in two-game sweeps.  That moved the Norse into the tournament semifinals where they lost to Bondurant-Farrar, 25-27 and 16-25.

Leaders for Roland-Story in the East Marshall tournament included: assists – Abbey Sindt (41); kills – Mia Pierson (27), Emily Krakau (17) and Amber Renaud (16); blocks – Pierson (14); digs – Krakau (47), Taylor Rusher (46), Hannah Warburton (41); aces – Warburton (7).

Also at East Marshall, the Roland-Story junior varsity team went 3-0 to win the JV tournament there.
