Roland-Story completed a season sweep of Gilbert in softball with a 7-1 win Monday night in Roland.  The victory evened Roland-Story’s overall season record at 13-13.

McKena Carlson had two hits for R-S, including a two-run single in the third inning that gave the Norse a 6-0 lead. Rachel Hagedorn, Dani Mott and Melissa Shadlow both delivered two hits apiece as well.  Kayla Nielsen hit a two-run double.  Molly Ammerman picked up the complete game pitching victory, allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out five.
