Roland-Story improved to 3-1 in Heart of Iowa Conference baseball with a solid 5-2 victory at Jefferson-Scranton on Friday night.

The Norsemen jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the second inning.  Jefferson-Scranton kept it close and tied the game with single runs in the fourth and sixth innings.  With the score tied at 2-2, R-S put up three big runs in the top of the seventh inning to get the road victory.

Gunnar Wyatt was the winning pitcher for the Norse.
